NIDO Worldwide Diaspora Week: One-Week Free ICT Training in Abuja
As part of the NIDO Worldwide Diaspora Week, the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) continues its commitment to national development through capacity building and digital empowerment.
This year, NIDO Americas, in partnership with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, is proud to present a One-Week Intensive ICT Training Program designed to equip participants with in-demand digital skills for today’s technology-driven world.

- Date: 15th – 19th July 2024
- Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Daily
- Location: FCT Abuja, Nigeria
- Cost: FREE
💻 Courses to Be Covered
Participants will receive hands-on training in the following areas:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Digital Marketing
- Cybersecurity
- Digital Forensics
- Mobile App Development
These courses are carefully selected to provide practical knowledge and global relevance, empowering attendees with skills that are highly valuable in both local and international markets.

The training will be delivered by Diaspora Experts — Professors and ICT professionals from around the world — bringing global perspectives and industry-standard knowledge to participants.
🎓 Admission Requirements
Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Possess prerequisite knowledge in ICT.
- Hold a Diploma or Degree from a recognized University, Polytechnic, or College of Education (approved by the Nigerian University Commission or relevant accredited institutions), including certificate-awarding agencies.
- Complete and submit the official application form.
Please note that participants are responsible for their feeding and transportation throughout the program.
